Caroline Paris | Director of Youth Ministries

Caroline became the Director of Youth Ministries at Oak Grove in August 2014. She was especially drawn to Oak Grove because the church’s mission, “Creating life changing communities through Jesus Christ,” resonates with her personal mission in life: to help others experience God, healing, and purpose through the cultivation of authentic relationships. She seeks to create a youth ministry that is accepting to all. She is passionate about the pastoral care and spiritual formation of adolescents, and she hopes to empower students to be agents of change in the world.
Caroline received her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Furman University, and she received her Masters of Divinity from the Candler of Theology at Emory University. Before working at Oak Grove, Caroline worked for three years at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church. It was during her time as the Director of Girls Ministries and Associate Director of Student Ministries at PRUMC that she realized that she learns more from students than she could ever hope to teach. She is thankful to her family for their support and for seeing the best in her, to her nieces for being the sources of so much joy and laughter, and to her friends for providing her a real life glimpse of God’s unconditional love.
